Coaching session

Bilan de ma première session de coaching avec Glitlr (SNG turbo) :

I played 4-tables of 16$ turbo SNGs (finished 5th, 7th, 4th, 6th) with Glitlr looking over my shoulder. We went over the following subjects :
  • Push ranges with different stack sizes and position
  • Bad stack sizes (11-15bb) vs limpers.
  • Play on the 25/50 blind level
  • Calculating stack sizes w/antes
  • Cbetting into more than 1 player
  • Play near the bubble
  • AK on btn vs agressive bb

Homework : Do HU quizzes with SNGWiz

    - Push ranges (see also Glitlr's 4th video)
    ---> 11-15bb stacks : it sucks. Push tigthly. For ex, in MP/EP at a full table, push TT+/AQ (99). Do not make standard raises (except w/ KK/AA sometimes) at these stack sizes
    ---> 10bb EP/MP mid blind level : push 77+/AJ+ (1a+ range)
    ---> 10bb BTN : push 2a range (any pair/any ace/any2 ten & higher)
    ---> 8bb BTN : push 2b range (middle kicker range : K3s/Q7/J8/76s/...)
    ---> 6bb BTN : push 2c range (any face card + ok looking cards : 95s, 86, ...)
    ---> 5bb BTN : push atc range

    - Bad stack sizes (11-15bb) vs limpers.
    ---> Shove 88/AJs/AQ.
    ---> No normal raises except KK/AA (QQ).
    ---> Even if AK seems like an overshove ... do it !

    - 25/50 blind level
    ---> Do not call raises at 25/50 level & higher.
    ---> 3bet range : QQ+ (AK/JJ)
    - Calculating stack sizes w/antes : bb equivalent = nb of bb * 2/3.

    - Do not cbet into more than 1 player

    - Near the bubble : if sb pushes lightly and bb knows it, it may be correct to fold a slightly +EV hand, hopping the 2 blinds will collide.

    - AK on btn vs agressive bb : raise 2.5bb to induce a resteal

    - Homework : Do HU quizzes with SNGWiz
