Mars 08 - Rapport mensuel

J'ai eu un peu de mal à démarrer ce mois çi, avec pas mal de soucis avec ma connexion ADSL. Ca m'a fait un peu changer mes objectifs (qui étaient initialement de se concentrer sur les SNG). J'ai donc joué très peu de SNG ce mois-ci (comment être certain de pouvoir terminer une partie quand ma connexion internet fait des siennes ?)

J'ai joué une douzaine d'heures en NL/PL 25$ (sans faire de multi-table) pour un gain de 67$ (soit 14PTBB/100). Pris par mon entousiasme, j'ai essayé aussi le 50$NL/PL (toujours sans faire de multitable). En 5 heures de jeu, j'ai accumulé 30 autre dollars (pour une moyenne de 15+PTBB/100). Je trouve que je me débrouille mieux en PL qu'en NL, probablement parce que les joueurs y sont plus larges. Ah, si je pouvais conserver ces WinRates ... mais c'est trop beau pour être vrai :P

Globalement, Mars a été un bon mois, avec un gain supérieur à 100$ plus 50$ de bonus obtenus sur PokerStar.

J'ai également commandé les derniers livres de Dan Harrington sur le cash-game, ainsi que 2 livres du Dr.Schonnberg sur la psychologie et le poker.

Total dépenses : 471.54 (+74.63€ sur le mois : livres)
Total bankroll : 574.16€ (+102.04€ sur le mois)
Gains cumulés : 524.16€ (+102.04€ sur le mois dont 31.84€ de bonus)
Bonus cumulés : 114.17€

Ca fait chaud au coeur

Hier, lors du tournoi mensuel du ClubPoker95 (tournoi live avec une soixantaine de joueurs), j'ai terminé à la 19ème place en jouant à peu près correctement (peut-être un peu trop tight lorsque mon M était aux alentours de 8 à 4). Mais le plus important arrive ...

A ma table, il y avait Lasdepik, l'un des joueurs les plus respectés du club. Il y a quelques temps, il est arrivé en table finale d'un MTT 100€ à l'ACF (cercle de jeux à Paris), et il joue en cash-game à des niveaux bien supérieurs aux miens. J'ai eu le privilège de le sortir du tournoi. Dans son compte-rendu du tournoi, sur le forum internet du club, il a dit qu'il était à "une table très relevée avec Nadine, MyKQ, Genworld, et des p'tits nouveaux qui n'en veulent" .

Etre respecté par un joueur respecté, ça fait du bien !

Problèmes ADSL

J'ai pas mal de problèmes de connexion ADSL en ce moment. Ca chamboule mes plans :

I've had some issues with my internet connexion since the begining of the month. I was forced to use the good-old slow 56Kbauds internet, so I couldn't grind as much as I was hoping for. Well now, it seems to be back again, so I hope I'll be able to catch up a bit.
As for my SnG challenge for March, the least I can say is that it's not running too hot . Ok, sure, I didn't have the opportunity to play a lot with my crappy internet connexion, but that's not an excuse :

Results for SNG for the month : (I'm aware that this is too small a sample to really mean anything)
Level 0.50$ : 6 SNG, 1 first place. ROI = 6%
Level 1.00$ : 5 SNG, 2 second place. ROI = 9%
Level 5.00$ : 2 SNG, 2xbust-out. ROI = omg, let's not calculate it.

I busted out a lot in 5th/6th place, and more often than not, I had the best hand when all the money went in (so I guess I shouldn't be too upset about it).
I also had a few time when I pushed very good hands (AQs or the like) on the button with 4 or 5 players left and stack sizes with M<10, only to get called by the BB who had Aces or Kings or AKs. Well, that's poker, isn't it ?

Getting tired on not cashing in, I played some CG. if my results at SNG were not good, I've been going pretty steady at Pot-limit & NL 25$ full ring. Since the begining of the month, it adds up to +90$ for less than 9 hours of play. In Limit, I have only played a few hours at very small limits, so it doesn't addup to much.

En mars, je souhaite me concentrer surtout sur les SNG.

My plan for march 08 is to focus mainly on Sit'n Gos.

My alltime results for SNG are as followed :
Level 0.10$ : 100 SNG - ITM = 43%, ROI = 40%, SD = 1,90 Buyin
Level 0.25$ : 44 SNG - ITM = 43%, ROI = 29%, SD = 1.68 Buyin
Level 0.50$ : 37 SNG - ITM = 38%, ROI = 16%, SD = 1.94 Buyin
Level 1.00$ : 3 SNG - ITM = 67%, ROI = 211%, SD = n/a (very small sample)
Level 2.50$ : 12 SNG - ITM = 58%, ROI = 73%, SD = n/a (small sample)
Level 5.00$ : 6 SNG - ITM = 33%, ROI = 42%, SD = n/a (very small sample)
Level 10$ : 4 SNG - ITM = 25%, ROI = -51%, SD = n/a (very small sample)

I consider that I don't need to keep playing the 0.10$ & 0.25$ SNG, I can beat the game easily at these levels. I'll start this month playing the 0.50$ SNG (where I'd like to improve my overall ROI to something closer to 20%). The plan is easy : if I get ITM on two consective SNG or if I win one, I move up. If I bust out "Out-of-the-money" on two consecutive SNG, I move down. I won't move higher than 10$ SNG, and I won't move lower than the 0.50$ SNG.

I'll concentrate on one table (no multitabling during the SNG).

When I don't have time to play a SNG, I'll play some Limit-TH, where I really need to work on my game. If I run hot during the month, I'll play a few NL0.25$ full-ring (but this time without multitabling !).If I go on a loosing streak, I'll play NL0.05$ to regain some confidence.

My overall goal for the month is to increase my Bankroll by at least 10%.This is my plan for March ... we'll see how it goes.
